5 still shots of Now You See Me

Shot 1
This is a close up shot of a guy holding a pack of cards towards the camera. The camera is focused on his face and has blurred the cards only slightly this tells the audience that at this moment in this shot, the guy is the most important object. The cards are the second important object in the screen. We want to know why the camera has focused on these two objects in the shot.
Shot 2
This shot is a long shot of four people dressed in black. They have all got head mikes on; this tells us that they might be in some sort of performance or show.  There is a reason why they wanted the audience to see the whole of these four people. The mise-en-scene in this shot is dark colours; this gives an eerie atmosphere, makes the audience wonder why they have used these colours. The room that they are in appears to be a very large room. Large enough to hold an audience.
Shot 3
This is a mid shot of a group of people. They look like they are in an aeroplane and they are having some sort of discussion. There is a range of different colours used in this scene. Pastle colours, dark, grays and the mise-en-scene of the place is a creamy colour. The guy in the blue gives off the impression that he is the most important character in this scen. They are all looking to him as though he is the one that they answer to.
Shot 4
This is a mid shot of three people that look as though they are stood in a very protected room. In the centre is a ball of fire that looks as though the male character has created. This makes the audience wonder is this guy important, is he some sort of magician? They are wearing very dark coloured clothing. Could this represent that they are good or bad guys in the movie?

Shot 5
This is a mid shot of three people sat at a table, it is an over the shoulder shot. It looks like an interviewing room, the male character of who we are looking over the shoulder at, looks as though he has hand cuffs on. This makes the audience wonder is this character a criminal, has he done something wrong and how bad is it. The male character in the white shirt, looks very inportant, he is leaning forward towards the criminal, it represents a sense of power about him. That he could be one of the main characters in this scene. The window/glass behind them gives off a feel that someone id watching you. Like they can see you but you can’t see them. Makes the audience think why have these events happened.
